DELICIOUS BAKED GOODS AND CASUAL DINING HANDMADE IN THE PACIFIC NORTHWEST SINCE 2019.

The Nest Bakery was founded in Tolovana Park, Oregon, circa 2012 by Jonathan Hoffman to supplement his newly established private chef business. After developing a passion for pastries, bread and other baked goods, he decided to approached Insomnia Baking Company in Cannon Beach, Oregon, to see if they’d be interested in purchasing his delicious creations wholesale. Insomnia agreed and started selling his banana bread and other tasty baked treats.

In the summer of 2015, Jonathan began selling his pastries at the Cannon Beach Farmers Market, growing a loyal following and building his culinary brand. And that’s where he met his wife and best friend, Alex(andrea) Hoffman!

Alex noticed Jonathan’s increased workload and offered help out. He gratefully accepted and a loving, working relationship was born. Within a few years, the increased demand for wholesale began to outgrow the small kitchen in Tolovana Park. Then in 2017, they opened Dough Dough Bakery in Seaside, Oregon, and it was full to the brim with friends and family who had come out to celebrate our grand opening. Shortly after, The Nest Bakery by “Dough Dough” was born and opened its doors to locals and tourists alike on the border of Gearhart and Warrenton, Oregon - just a couple blocks from the beautiful Pacific Ocean!

Since then, Jonathan and Alex have gone on two run two well reviewed, and very successful businesses. In addition, they were awarded the “Iron Chef Goes Coastal” championship 2022 and Jonathan has won multiple Iron Chef and other prestigious culinary awards throughout the years as a private chef. They are incredibly grateful for your business, friendship and suggestions - now and always!
